One thing you might not know that can be sustainable is your sunglasses. Opolis makes their sunglasses out of plant-based and upcycled materials, making them a truly sustainable line of sunglasses. They use bio-acetate instead of acetate to create the hardware on their sunglasses. Bio-acetate is made out of plant based polymers and natural materials that use less carbon emissions than regular acetate. Their new line of sunglasses, StokedPlastic, are made out of water bottles found in the environment. Not to mention that the quality of these sunglasses is better than the leading brands…quite literally obsessed.
