Fried Rice with Vegan Yum Yum Sauce

Homemade fried rice with yum yum sauce anyone?? I think yes ✨

This recipe is one of my go to staples and it’s so easy! here’s how to make it!

fried rice:
*i typically just free hand the measurements - it tastes better that way :)

- start by rinsing and cooking your rice and then put it in the fridge so it can cool - left over rice is perfect for this 🙌🏼

- then in a pan, use some vegan butter and cook your veggies. the best part about this recipe is you can use whatever veggies you have in your fridge, my favorites are peas, carrots, corn and zucchini

- then once those are cooked, you can crack your eggs in the same pan and scramble/mix them with the veggies - if your making a vegan meal, skip the eggs, it tastes just as good!

- once the eggs are cooked add your rice, soy sauce or liquid aminos, butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder and ginger powder and mix - you can let it sit in the pan and the rice gets extra crispy

and that’s it, your ready to dig in!

yum yum sauce:
- 1-1/4 cup of vegenaise
- 2 tablespoons of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- a dash of cayenne pepper
*mix it all together and add some water to thin it out*
