This hummus platter is my go to for any appetizer! It is so yummy and takes little effort and plastic!

How to make the platter:

- To make the hummus, add to blender: a can of chickpeas, the juice of a lemon, 4 tbsp of olive oil, 3 tbsp of tahini, 2 tsp cumin, salt & pepper to taste

- To make the veggie topping, chop and add to a bowl: tomatoes, cucumber, parsley, olives, red wine vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic powder.

- Add your favorite crackers/dippers: I did GF pita bread & Mary's Gone crackers

How to make plastic free:

- Get your veggies & herbs from the farmers market

-Get everything else in glass/aluminum/cardboard >>> recycle them

- Make your own pita (recipe coming soon!)

- Get your spices in bulk from your local Co-Op
