ZERO WASTE BRONZER (DIY)

alright... so let’s talk make up. obvi most makeup comes in plastic so I was determined to find a low waste solution. But that came with some criteria because my skin is sensitive so I wanted clean ingredients

then I found this DIY recipe on Pinterest and I am so obsessed (my sister is hooked now too). Of course I tested it out for about a month plus and no complaints! I seriously feel like I found the biggest life hack!

WHY I LOVE IT:
- you can customize your shade
- you can make a lot of for cheap
- all natural... no bullshit
- lasts all day
- my skin doesn’t break out
- low waste/no waste

WHAT YOU NEED:
- a jar
- coco powder
- cinnamon
- nutmeg

THE RATIO I USED:
1 tbsp coco/ 1/2 tsp cinnamon/ 1/2 nutmeg

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- coco powder is you base, this is the neutral/warmer brown tone, then the cinnamon is a more warm orange tone and the nutmeg is a cooler orange tone (kinda like mixing paints to get the perfect tone)
- when applying on your face you don’t need a lot... a little goes along way
- try different ratios before you commit to making a big batch
