rather then throwing out your carrot tops I decided to get crafty with my waste and turn it into one of my fav things... PESTO

DRUM ROLL PLEASE: CARROT TOP PESTO

INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cup carrot tops
- 3/4 cup pine nuts
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 cup of olive oil
- salt to taste

DIRECTIONS:
- place it all in a blender and blend baby

- buy your carrots, lemon and garlic package free
- buy your nutritional yeast, olive oil, salt and pine nuts in bulk
