Squash Apple Soup

the PERFECT fall squash & apple soup

Ingredients:
- 1 squash
- 2 apples
- 1 white onion
- 1 tbsp of fresh ginger
- 2 cloves of fresh garlic
- veggie stalk (enough to cover the veggies)
- 1/2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp thyme
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste

Directions:
- coat your squash in oil then roast in the oven till soft
- sauté onion, garlic, ginger and spices with oil
- add squash and apples sauté for a little to get the spices on them
- add veggie broth to cover the veggies and bring to a boil
- blend everything together
- ENJOY!!!

WASTE INFO:
- buy all your veggies and produce package/plastic free
- buy your spices in glass jars to recycle
- make your own veggie stalk from your food scraps or buy in a recyclable container
- don’t forget to compost your scraps!
